countdown to ocip
the parents just came home, i was tailing my mummy and sharing with her today's events as she attended to her domestic routines when my daddy interfered and made me stop talking. haiyer. then the two adults drifted to a pipe-dream abt early retirement. yes. so, flanked by my siblings at the dining table this evening, dinner was a refreshingly peaceful affair.preparation for OCIP Cambodia is rounding up pretty nicely. learning fac dance/mass dance, doing research, going thru meeting agenda... can more or less chill a little. i guess the whole impact of being far away from home for 1wk hasnt hit me in full force yet, until i recited my departure time and date to my sister and saw her crestfallen face, "so soon?"
other things on my mind... paid a visit to a close friend in hospital, ran errands in a frenzied auntie-like fashion, engaging phone convo with yt (: some thoughts on these another time.
oh and thanks mel, for bringing some cheer with ur penguins, santas and polar bears. :D
off to catch sgp tabletennis women in semi-finals action.
